Our ethos is based on Christian principals but the organisation is multicultural and aims to offer its services to anyone who has needs that can be supported by interaction with animals, nature and the countryside environment.

Established in Lancashire in 1993, the charity is a non profit making company limited by guarantee and has recently moved its operations to our new site in Cumbria on the A66 just outside Penrith. (behind Llama Karma Kafe).

Lords House Farm offers a range of therapeutic and educational activities both here on site or can bring a range of animals out to schools and community centres where appropriate.

We work with main stream school provision in addition to our specialist programmes with special needs, and this serves to enhance our support and provision to the less able community.

We can also provide day care services where appropriate to adults who would benefit from the interaction of learning to care for animals in a more supported environment.
